I scored average on that test, which is fairly strange as i tend to be a pretty good speller when im not being lazy. (Lazy in my case would be not punctuating contractions, and certain pronouns, and will run words together at times.)
I was quite surprised that i missed so many.. 12, and 20 were the ones i knew id get wrong. I also got #8 wrong. I interchange all right and alright fairly often. That seems to be a contested spelling however and shouldnt really count.
Yeah, I suppose "alright" could qualify as an actual word (in fact, sort of is: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/alright). I don't really like it--even as a phase. It's boring. At least when written.
Say it as much as you like. Verbal language is fluid. When writing, however, it may be better to opt for something with more substance. Outside of dialog I'm not sure there are many places for it.
I missed persistent and compliment. Thought they were persistant and complement respectively, though both are real words. Got a 90%. Usually I bother with grammar, on WoW etc, but if I'm on my shitty cell phone where I have to go about 10 seconds out of my way to say you're instead of your, I don't care; it's the same thing.
I also hate when people use "ur." Just seems so uncultured. Plus, I usually use the "word" function on my phone, and that doesn't come up as the first option (phone word system is dumb and I'm too lazy to use the abc function).

I s'pose it's a relative thing. Honestly, I consider myself a bad speller. My email and posts to Deadgod are typically riddled with red underlines.
Just get better over time ;)
If you're gonna type out a full word, type out the right one :) Personally I can't help but roll my eyes at your/you're mistakes...
I have no problem with useful abbreviations. I do when the wrong word is chosen.
