OK, I'm probably never going to do something at a 100% side-view again. At least, not anything but sketches. This was a great learning experience, however ;)
I feel like I'm improving which is the most important thing. Plenty of room for improvement though :P
Feel free to let me know what sucks about it. ;) All feedback is helpful :P
Unless it's not.
You're getting progressively better with each new drawing
Look, I'd nag him more but he hates being nagged.
First, the fang. Wtf? Maybe I'm missing something here, which I 99% probably am, so an explanation would be good.
I know this is meant to be anime, but the buildings in the background just look a LITTLE too cartoonish. Like, make them a bit more square, just a little more realism will take it out of the Cartoon Network realm and into the BA anime realm.
Just my $.02
The cartoonish backgrounds is what happens when you draw something at a 100% side view ;) The only reason I did that here is because I've never drawn something from a 100% side view before and wanted to try. I could have done perspective shading better which probably would have helped. I think much of the cartoonishness also came from my very primitive rendering of windows / etc. It's good to know this sticks out to people; hopefully future backgrounds will be better.
Thanks again for the feedback. It really helps. (Except for troll feedback.)
You fail because the point you're trying to make is easily parried; too much emphasis is put on a minor point rather than trying to elicit an actual emotional response.
Really, I think noggin should put together a how-to on this.
Correct trolling:
o I don't get it, did someone pee on his hat? Why's it orange?
o My cat coughs up smoother coloring.
o THIS IS TERRIBLE AND YOU ARE TERRIBLE
o That was so harsh I think you just gave me AIDS
Get it?
Besides, we only have room for one troll. And you ain't him.

Oh god the font is stretching it. Oh well.
You guys really aren't good at this ;) I s'pose that's a good thing.
This isn't an invitation to keep trying. Don't make us deduct credits for spam ;)
noggin, oh noggin, wherefor art thou noggin?
Oh, and noggin.
OMG UR FUCKING BRILLIANT
Don't embarrass yourself, my little fan-boy, you are distracting me from my OP targets. Now, where was I...
Oh yea!
I liked your other better, but I imagine anime would be hard to draw from a completely side-profile perspective. Then again the style in question is something I've always felt was intended to be in motion to achieve it's fullest 'potential' so capturing a still image that pleases a large group of nerds would almost be harder than producing something that is artistically advanced.
Can't argue with the speed of your progression though. I just find the previous image to suit my pallet more so than this. Technique is nice.

I have about 10 random sketches after this, trying to avoid doing anything big other than sketching because I feel like I'm improving more just drawing stuffs. I'd send them to you, but your ICQ likes to crash ;)
Also, his ear is so terrible I can barely stand to look at it. Let alone shade it :(
I cant explain why exactly.. just reminds me a lot of the image i have of him in my head as a kid. I kept trying to figure out why it looked familiar.. i wanted to say it was like something from beavis and butthead, but that didnt make any sense at all when i went looking through some of that stuff. Then i realized what it actually reminded me of. :)
