Looks like we are going to have a lunar eclipse wednesday evening, february 20th at around 10pm eastern time. The lunar eclipse isnt quite as spectacular as a solar eclipse, but sometimes it is pretty neat all the same.
Any of you guys with good photographic telescopes and cameras should get out there and get some pictures. Im gonna see if i can get a few, could be neat.

This is for blog page standardization so there are no huge images stretching the page to unreadability.
But it also makes it so you can click on the image to get the full, original version.
Poor optics on this thing for really long range stuff, in the dark. I have used really really old sony that took pictures at 15x optical zoom, 640x480 resolution, and it would take moon-pictures pretty fairly. Certainly nothing amazing though at that resolution.
