I also would like to know about Brazil, about Cuba, about Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. I was amazed at the amount of packaged food the Japanese consume and saddened by the week of food shown for the African family. But I understand that this is just a glimps and it was enjoyable to see.

A very good collection indeed. However prices are misleading, the westerns consume more processed food and naturally spend more... They are also very lazy to prepare real meals.

i love how people have generalised, infact i love how this website has generalised people!
If you look at it carefully those who look like they are the most unhealthiest are from western countries. This means that they are morea bale to get food which is packaged, rather unlike other countries such as India,. who are most likely less able to get packaged food. I bet if you really went through the food you'll find a lot of healthy stuff in there.

And no, i dont think the french girl was going to eat the cat.

I would say that the german family eats the least healthy.

This is a great collection! Thank you. What hit me the most is the fact that families with almost no food in front of them are still smiling. Do we apreciate enough the food we get? Do we help enough the ones who don't have as much as we do? Or are our heads buried selfishly in to our own lives?

Well, To those who think that Americans eat crap all the time is nonsence. My family eats Whole grain Cereal, Little soda, Chicken,Fish Rice and alot of vegatables. Speaking of weight Some american don't eat right I agree but alot of us do. And remember we have a choice in our country to eat what we want and a wide menu of food to choose from. We also we give more food to independent countrys all over the world. We are the one of the biggest donators of money to help people all over the world, So to label all Americans as overwieght you can just stick it in your little skinny ear. From a proud heterosexual male(Just in case you any other stupid thoughts,

We learned.. and then we invented new food to replace the old food.

America, technologically improving every aspect of life we can. For better, or worse.

it is really sad to see in how the rest of the world vegetables and fruits are pretty prominent in their diet, while Americans eat mostly junk or shitty food... Shame on you Americans, that is why they have a horrible obesity problem. Learn from other cultures!!

is that little girl from france going to eat the cat?

The Australian one is WAY off. I have 4 kids and have lived in different states, in the city and country. I spend $400-$450 every 2 weeks (we get paid once every 2 weeks). We are about normal for friends and family. I would say closer to $200 a week for your normal family.

What about Brazil?

34 Days 17 Hours ago, Rudy said...

The Canadian one is odd. They picked nunavut, like come on, thats no where. Vancouver (the windy city) or toronto (the big apple) would have been a way better choice.
