I'm pretty sure I raved about the original Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni series. Finally watched the first few of the new series today.
Damn. I love this anime. Combining a level of cuteness that would make even regulars of cuteoverload giggle with an appetite for violence that makes Manhunt 2 seem tame...
The first season was excellent, I hear the second season is already airing and people are beginning to fansub it. I'm thinking I'll wait til that's done, judging by the first, you want to keep watching it nonstop once you start. This is especially so since it is an 'answer arc' season so many mysteries will be revealed.
